Traditional Indian Weddings, Painted in Watercolor

Traditional Indian wedding ceremonies are a joy to paint at, because they are both contemplative and colorful, sacred and joyful. They are full of tradition, ritual, and prayer, but above all celebrate the bride and groom and the pleasure they take in each other’s company. That pleasure is what I hope to capture in my live watercolor paintings.
